Tracy Dopko - Daventry Equine Appraisal Services client

Tracy Dopko is a Certified Senior Equine Appraiser with the American Society of Agricultural Appraisers and the American Society of Equine Appraisers and has been doing equine appraisals for approximately 19 years, along with being hired as an equine expert witness and consultant for court cases and is qualified as an "Equine Expert" in Court proceedings. Tracy has over 3,700 hours of equine appraisal experience, and to date, has helped her clients win over $1.3 million dollars in dispute cases and settlements.

Andalusian

Tracy has taken USEF Andalusian judges clinics, judged this breed throughout the years and also has experience appraising this breed.


Appaloosa Horse

Tracy has judged this breed regularly throughout the years and is a Color Breed Council Approved Judge and member of the Appaloosa Horse Club. She also has extensive experience training, showing, selling and appraising this breed.


Arabian

Tracy has judged this breed regularly throughout the years. She has her Equestrian Canada Senior Breed Sport judges card, which includes the Arabian division. She has extensive experience training and showing Arabians, including several Circuit and Regional Championships in Arabian Open Hunter and Arabian Hunter Pleasure. Tracy has extensive experience training, showing, selling and appraising this breed.


Barrel Racing

Tracy has judged this discipline throughout the years and also has experience appraising barrel racers and breeding stock.


Breeding

Tracy previously bred Canadian Sport Horses, Hanoverians and Oldenburgs for over 10 years, including hosting yearly Warmblood breeding inspections at her farm for the ISR/Oldenburg Registry NA, and is now an avid breeder of Welsh Ponies, Cobs and Hunter Ponies. In 2013, Tracy held ISR/Oldenburg Registry NA and Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society mare and stallion inspections at her facility in Alberta, hosted a German Westphalian Verband inspection in 2014 and a Rheinland Pfalz-Saar International mare and stallion inspection in 2015. She also runs a successful breeding operation, currently standing two stallions and managing a highly successful shipped semen operation with a high First Cycle Conception rate each year. Tracy personally freezes semen on all of the stallions, as well as learning to perform embryo transfers on her own mares. Tracy has taken extensive courses in equine embryo transfer, equine ultrasound and equine frozen semen with some of the most respected Equine Reproduction Specialists in North America. She has done appraisals involving valuing frozen semen as well as valuing Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) frozen semen.

Connemara

Tracy is the only Canadian to hold a US Equestrian Recorded Connemara judges card and is an Inspector with the Canadian Connemara Pony Society. She has taken Connemara History and Connemara Breed Type & Conformation Clinics with Tomás MacLochlainn of Ireland, who is a long-time Connemara breeder, inspector, judge and the past-president of the Connemara Pony Breeders' Society. Tracy was also nominated to judge the Clifden Connemara Pony Show in Ireland in 2010. She designed & manages the website for the Canadian Connemara Pony Society, has competed for Team Connemara in the Spruce Meadows Battle of the Breeds and is a yearly member with the Canadian Connemara Pony Society. Tracy has extensive experience training, showing, selling and appraising this breed.


Dales Pony

Tracy has extensive experience judging and appraising this breed.


Dressage

Tracy has extensive experience training, showing, selling and breeding horses & ponies for the dressage circuit in both Canada and the United States and also has extensive experience appraising dressage horses & ponies in the United States, Canada and Europe. She is a member of the United States Dressage Federation, Dressage Canada, Canadian Dressage Owners & Riders Association, Alberta Dressage and the Edmonton & Area Dressage Associations. Tracy is also a Dressage Steward with Equestrian Canada.


Eventing

Fell Pony

Tracy has judged this breed and also has experience appraising this breed.


Friesian

Tracy is the only Canadian to hold a US Equestrian Recorded Friesian judges card and has judged this breed throughout the years. She has taken USEF Friesian Judges clinics, attended the Friesch Paarden Stamboek (KFPS) Keuring in Alberta and is a member of the Friesian Horse Association of North America. She has extensive experience training, selling and appraising this breed.


Gypsy Vanner

Tracy has judged this breed and also has experience appraising this breed.


Hackney

Tracy has her Equestrian Canada Senior Breed Sport judges card, which includes the Hackney division. She has experience judging and appraising this breed.


Hunter/Jumper

Tracy is a US Equestrian Registered Hunter, Hunter/Jumping Seat Equitation and Hunter Breeding judge as well as an Equestrian Canada Senior Hunter, Hack & Hunt Seat Equitation judge and recorded Jumper judge. Tracy most recently spent the 2015 summer Stewarding at the Spruce Meadows tournaments and had the opportunity to shadow judge at the 2015 Spruce Meadows Masters. She has attended hunter, jumper, equitation and hunter breeding clinics in both Canada and the United States and is currently working on completing her Senior and FEI-1 Jumper judges cards and Senior and FEI Jumper Stewards cards. She has extensive experience judging, training, showing, selling and breeding horses & ponies for the hunter/jumper circuit in both Canada and the United States and also has extensive experience appraising hunter/jumpers in the United States, Canada and Europe.

Tracy has her Equestrian Canada Senior Breed Sport judges card, which includes the Morgan horse division. She has judged this breed regularly throughout the years. Tracy also has extensive experience training, showing, selling and appraising this breed.


National Show Horse

Tracy has her Equestrian Canada Senior Breed Sport judges card, which includes the Arabian, American Saddlebred, Road Horse and Saddle Seat divisions. She has taken USEF National Show Horse judges clinics, has judged this breed throughout the years and also has experience appraising this breed.


Norwegian Fjord Horse

Tracy designed & manages the website for the Canadian Fjord Horse Association, as well as managing several other Fjord Breeder websites. She also manages the breeding of a Fjord stallion for one of her clients. Tracy has experience training, judging and appraising this breed.


Paint Horse

Tracy has judged this breed regularly throughout the years and is a Color Breed Council Approved Judge and American Paint Horse Association member. She also has extensive experience training, showing, selling and appraising this breed.


Quarter Horse

Tracy is a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and has judged this breed regularly throughout the years. Tracy also has extensive experience training, showing, selling and appraising this breed.


Saddlebred

Tracy has her Equestrian Canada Senior Breed Sport judges card, which includes the American Saddlebred, Road Horse and Saddle Seat divisions. She has taken USEF Saddle Seat Equitation judges clinics, has judged this breed throughout the years and also has experience appraising this breed.


Shetland Pony

Tracy has judged and trained this breed throughout the years, is a member of the American Shetland Pony Club and also has experience appraising this breed.


Spotted Draft Horse

Thoroughbred

Tracy has extensive experience judging, breeding, training, selling and showing Thoroughbreds and also has extensive experience appraising this breed. She has her Equestrian Canada Senior Breed Sport judges card, which includes the Thoroughbred division.


Trakehner

Tracy is an Inspector with the Canadian Trakehner Horse Society. She has extensive experience training, showing, selling and breeding Trakehners and has won numerous American Trakehner Association Horse of the Year and Canadian Trakehner Horse Society Year-End Awards in both hunters and dressage. Tracy also has extensive experience appraising this breed.


Warmbloods (Dutch Warmbloods, Hanoverians, Oldenburgs, etc.)

Tracy is a member of the ISR/Oldenburg Registry NA, Rheinland Pfalz-Saar International, Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association and Canadian Sport Horse Association. Tracy previously bred Canadian Sport Horses, Hanoverians and Oldenburgs for over 10 years, including hosting yearly Warmblood breeding inspections at her farm since 1996. She hosted an Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society and ISR/Oldenburg Registry NA mare & stallion inspections at her facility in 2013, a German Westphalian Verband inspection in 2014 and a Rheinland Pfalz-Saar International inspection in 2015. Tracy has her Equestrian Canada Senior Breed Sport judges card, which includes the Canadian Sport Horse and Canadian Warmblood divisions. She has extensive experience training, showing and selling warmbloods and has extensive experience appraising some of the top warmblood stallions and mares in the United States, Canada and Europe.


Welara Pony

Tracy is the only Canadian to hold an American Welara Pony Registry judges card. She has extensive experience training, showing, selling and appraising this breed.


Welsh Pony & Cob

Tracy is the only Canadian to hold a US Equestrian Recognized Welsh Pony & Cob judges card, is an Equestrian Canada Senior Welsh Pony & Cob judge, Welsh Pony & Cob Society of Canada Approved Welsh Pony & Cob judge and Welsh Pony & Cob Society of America Approved Welsh Pony & Cob judge and Technical Deligate. Tracy has judged both the Central National and Eastern National Welsh Shows, as well as judging Welsh Pony shows in California, Indiana, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon and Virginia. She is a current member of the US Equestrian Welsh Committee, on the Welsh Pony & Cob Society of America Licensed Officials Committee, Website Committee and Canadian Regional Representative, past Editor of the Welsh In Canada and past Director for the Welsh Pony & Cob Society of Canada. She was asked to be the clinician for the 2010 Welsh Pony & Cob Society of America Judges Clinic in Lexington, Kentucky and nominated to judge the International Welsh Pony & Cob Society Show in the United Kingdom in 2011. She is a life member with the Welsh Pony & Cob Society of America and a yearly member with the Welsh Pony & Cob Society of Canada. Tracy has extensive experience breeding, training, showing, selling and appraising this breed.


Western

Tracy is one of only a handful of Canadians to hold a US Equestrian Recognized Western judges card, is also an Equestrian Canada Senior Western judge and Equine Canada Senior General Performance judge. She is Chair of the Equestrian Canada General Performance Committee and is the facilitator for Western Canada for Equine Canada General Performance Judges clinics. She has experience competing in western pleasure, stock seat and trail and has won several National Titles in these disciplines as well. Tracy has extensive experience judging and appraising western pleasure, trail and reining horses.
